Our consortium
The research & innovation center - AITEX is a private association for research, characterisation testing and the certification of textile articles and materials with applications in a wide range of sectors.
The Institute’s core objective is to generate technological knowledge and transfer it to textile companies, enabling them to become more competitive, increase product value and access new business opportunities. To this end, the Institute promotes modernisation and the introduction of emerging and new technologies through R&D projects and a series of actions that contribute to the progress of the sector. It also provides companies with the appropriate product certifications so that they can compete in the international market, facilitating their entry into high-end niche markets.
Andaltec Andaltec is a non-profit Foundation stablished in 2003 under the initiative of 29 regional companies and entities. Recognized as a National Technology Center by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Andaltec provides advanced technological services, R&D&i projects and new materials development, as well as specialized training in order to improve the competitiveness of companies. Its scope of action is aimed at the Plastics sector demands, focusing mainly on the Automotive, Food Packaging and Circular Economy.
Its facilities include a department of engineering, simulations and technological developments; a project management and development department; Laboratories of physical-chemical analysis, biodegradability and compostability, optical, metrological and electronic; a plastic transformation technologies pilot plant; a prototyping design and manufacturing area; a photometric tunnel and a road driving simulation tunnel.
CTAEX is a non-profit BUSINESS Association, which opened its doors in January 2001 with a clear objective: to offer common research, development, innovation, analytical, training and information services to contribute to the competitive development of companies in the agri-food sector and to the safety of consumers.
The Centro Tecnológico Nacional Agroalimentario (CTAEX) is acting in the South and West of the Iberian Peninsula as a technological reference, participating in the assessment of projects and in the consolidation of the competitiveness of the agri-food sector through innovation, technological development, training and the provision of services to agricultural and agri-food companies.
The Association's main objective is to meet the demands and needs of the development of sustainable methods of production, conservation and transformation of agri-food products under an integrated rural development approach, seeking competitiveness and efficiency of productions.
The National Technological Center for the Food and Canning Industry (CTNC) is a non-profit business association whose main activity is to promote innovation and technological development in the agri-food sector at the national level. It has its origin in the Canned Vegetable Industry Research Association founded in 1962, with 50 years of experience.
The CTNC is structured into different areas and has instrumental equipment and a pilot plant with which it carries out R&D actions and technological services aimed at companies. The activity of the Center is completed with a system of Technology Transfer and dissemination among companies in the sector. This transfer system has a positive impact on the industry in its ability to react to changes in market trends, in the incorporation of new knowledge and technological advances in real time, in the decision of research strategies, etc.
ITENE technology center is specialized in materials and technologies for the circular economy; safety, design and functionality of containers and packaging; exposure to chemical agents and environmental monitoring; and logistics and smart mobility.
Within the container and packaging value chain, the center provides technological solutions with an integrated vision chain, from raw materials, the design of packaging and packaging systems and the optimization of merchandise distribution, until the products reach the consumer and are managed as waste. In addition to its participation in R&D projects, it also offers testing services, technical assistance and training.
ITENE brings to AGROMATTER project its experience in the field of biotechnology, bioprocesses, as well as the synthesis of new biopolymers and the formulation of grades for their transformation for application in the food and cosmetics packaging sector.
